Sniffing of the drug, damages the brain directly and also damages the heart, kidneys, and lungs.

Caffeine

Coffee, tea, and soft drinks.

It stimulates the central nervous system and it is the only addictive substance not prohibited in children.

Cannabis

Hemp(marijuana or hashish)

It impairs memory and learning. Causes inability to focus and coordinate.

Cocaine

Cocaine derived from coca and Amphetamines

Highly addictive.

Hallucinogens 

Natural substances:

  1. Psilocybin in magic mushrooms.
  2. Mescaline in cactus.

Synthetic compounds:

  1. Lysergic acid diethylamide [LSD]
  2. MDMA or ecstasy
  3. Phencyclidine [PCP] or angel dust.

These drugs cause mind-altering effects resulting in unpredictable short term peaks in blood pressure, body temperature, heart rate, sweating etc..

Nicotine

Tobacco

Gradually destroys the autonomic nervous system and deteriorates the skeletal muscles.

Opiates

    1. Opium
    2. Morphine
    3. Heroin
    4. Codeine and
    5. Synthetic opiates.

    Highly addictive.
